In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Patel Mitesh Rameshbhai (Bakabhai) of BJP won in this seat defeating Bharatbhai Madhavsinh Solanki of INC by a margin of 1,97,718 votes which was 17.83% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 57.03% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Dilip Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Solanki Bharatbhai Madhavsinh of INC by a margin of 63,426 votes which was 6.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 50.55% in the seat.
