In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Kachhadiya Naranbhai Bhikhabhai of BJP won in this seat defeating Paresh Dhanani of INC by a margin of 2,01,431 votes which was 22.16% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58.04% in 2019 in this seat.
