In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Guharam Ajgalley of BJP won in this seat defeating Ravi Parasram Bhardwaj of INC by a margin of 83,255 votes which was 6.67% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 45.88% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Kamla Patle of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Prem Chand Jayasi of INC by a margin of 1,74,961 votes which was 16.3% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 48.34% in the seat.
