In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) of TDP won in this seat defeating Potluri V Prasad (PVP) of YSRCP by a margin of 8,726 votes which was 0.68% of the total votes cast for the seat. TDP had a vote share of 45.04% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) of TDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Koneru Rajendra Prasad of YSRCP by a margin of 74,714 votes which was 6.27% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP secured a vote share of 49.58% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Lagadapati Raja Gopal of INC won this seat beating Vamsi Mohan Vallabhaneni of TDP by a margin of 12,712 votes which was 1.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.44% in the seat.
