In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Adala Prabhakara Reddy of YSRCP won in this seat defeating Beeda Masthan Rao of TDP by a margin of 1,48,571 votes which was 11.54% of the total votes cast for the seat. YSRCP had a vote share of 53.04% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy of YSRCP emerged victorious in this seat beating Adala Prabhakara Reddy of TDP by a margin of 13,478 votes which was 1.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. YSRCP secured a vote share of 48.53% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy of INC won this seat beating Vanteru Venu Gopala Reddy of TDP by a margin of 54,993 votes which was 5.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.92% in the seat.
