In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Nandigam Suresh of YSRCP won in this seat defeating Malyadri Sriram of TDP by a margin of 16,065 votes which was 1.27% of the total votes cast for the seat. YSRCP had a vote share of 47.11% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Malyadri Sriram of TDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Varikuti Amruthapani of YSRCP by a margin of 32,754 votes which was 3.38% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP secured a vote share of 48.94% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Panabaka Lakshmi of INC won this seat beating Malyadri Sriram of TDP by a margin of 69,338 votes which was 6.64% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 44.09% in the seat.
