In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Geeta Kora of INC won in this seat defeating Laxman Giluwa of BJP by a margin of 72,155 votes which was 8.21% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.1% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Laxman Giluwa of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Geeta Kora of JBSP by a margin of 87,524 votes which was 11.01% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 38.12% in the seat.
