In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Jugal Kishore of BJP won in this seat defeating Raman Bhalla of INC by a margin of 3,02,875 votes which was 20.48% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 57.81% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Jugal Kishore of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Madan Lal Sharma of INC by a margin of 2,57,280 votes which was 20.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 49.46% in the seat.
