In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Mohammad Akbar Lone of JKNC won in this seat defeating Raja Aijaz Ali of JPC by a margin of 30,233 votes which was 6.64% of the total votes cast for the seat. JKNC had a vote share of 29.26% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Muzaffar Hussain Baig of JKPDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sharief Ud-Din Shariq of JKNC by a margin of 29,219 votes which was 6.27% of the total votes polled in the constituency. JKPDP secured a vote share of 37.61% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Sharief Ud Din Shariq of JKNC won this seat beating Mohammad Dilawar Mir of JKPDP by a margin of 64,814 votes which was 14.69% of the total votes polled in the constituency. JKNC had a vote share of 46.01% in the seat.
