In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Sunita Duggal of BJP won in this seat defeating Ashok Tanwar of INC by a margin of 3,09,918 votes which was 22.63% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 52.13% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Charanjeet Singh of INLD emerged victorious in this seat beating Ashok Tanwar of INC by a margin of 1,15,736 votes which was 9.05% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INLD secured a vote share of 39.58% in the seat.
