In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Krishan Pal of BJP won in this seat defeating Avtar Singh Bhadana of INC by a margin of 6,38,239 votes which was 48.09% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 68.76% in 2019 in this seat.
