In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Ranjanben Bhatt of BJP won in this seat defeating Prashant Patel (Tiko) of INC by a margin of 5,89,177 votes which was 48.2% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 72.22% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Narendra Modi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mistri Madhusudan Devram of INC by a margin of 5,70,128 votes which was 49.08% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 72.79% in the seat.
