In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Dr Munjapara Mahendrabhai of BJP won in this seat defeating Koli Patel Somabhai Gandalal of INC by a margin of 2,77,437 votes which was 25.74% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58.49% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Fatepara Dev Ajibhai Govindbhai of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Koli Patel Somabhai Gandalal of INC by a margin of 2,02,907 votes which was 21.48% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 56% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Koli Patel Somabhai Gandalal of INC won this seat beating Mer Laljibhai Chaturbhai of BJP by a margin of 4,831 votes which was 0.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.25% in the seat.
