In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Darshana Vikram Jardosh of BJP won in this seat defeating Ashok Patel (Adhevada) of INC by a margin of 5,48,230 votes which was 51.31% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 74.41% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Darshana Vikram Jardosh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Desai Naishadhbhai Bhupatbhai of INC by a margin of 5,33,190 votes which was 56.25% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 75.79% in the seat.
