In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chauhan Devusinh of BJP won in this seat defeating Bimal Shah of INC by a margin of 3,67,145 votes which was 33.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 64.89% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Chauhan Devusinh Jesingbhai (Chauhan Devusinh) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dinsha Patel of INC by a margin of 2,32,901 votes which was 24.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 59.44% in the seat.
