In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chavda Vinod Lakhamshi of BJP won in this seat defeating Naresh Naranbhai Maheshwari of INC by a margin of 3,05,513 votes which was 29.86% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 62.2% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Chavda Vinod Lakhamashi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating DrDinesh Parmar of INC by a margin of 2,54,482 votes which was 26.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 59.4% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Jat Poonamben Veljibhai of BJP won this seat beating Danicha Valjibhai Punamchandra of INC by a margin of 71,343 votes which was 12.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.58% in the seat.
