In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai of BJP won in this seat defeating Vansh Punjabhai Bhimabhai of INC by a margin of 1,50,211 votes which was 14.95% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 54.38% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Punjabhai Bhimabhai Vansh of INC by a margin of 1,35,832 votes which was 14.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 54.51% in the seat.
