In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam of BJP won in this seat defeating Kandoriya Mulubhai Ranmalbhai of INC by a margin of 2,36,804 votes which was 23.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 58.49% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ahir Vikrambhai Arjanbhai Madam of INC by a margin of 1,75,289 votes which was 20.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 56.81% in the seat.
