In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Patel Hasmukhbhai Somabhai of BJP won in this seat defeating Gitaben Patel of INC by a margin of 4,34,330 votes which was 38.91% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 67.01% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Paresh Rawal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Patel Himmatsingh Prahladsingh of INC by a margin of 3,26,633 votes which was 33.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 64.29% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Harin Pathak of BJP won this seat beating Babaria Dipakbhai Ratilal of INC by a margin of 86,056 votes which was 14.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 53.32% in the seat.
