In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma of BJP won in this seat defeating Mahabal Mishra of INC by a margin of 5,78,486 votes which was 40.13% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 60.01% in 2019 in this seat.
In 2014, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jarnail Singh of AAP by a margin of 2,68,586 votes which was 19.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 48.32% in the seat.
In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Mahabal Mishra of INC won this seat beating Prof Jagdish Mukhi of BJP by a margin of 1,29,010 votes which was 14.59% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 54.28% in the seat.
