In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Gautam Gambhir of BJP won in this seat defeating Arvinder Singh Lovely of INC by a margin of 3,91,222 votes which was 31.1% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 55.33% in 2019 in this seat.
