In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rameswar Teli of BJP won in this seat defeating Paban Singh Ghatowar of INC by a margin of 3,64,566 votes which was 35.89% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 64.92% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Rameswar Teli of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Paban Singh Ghatowar of INC by a margin of 1,85,347 votes which was 20.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 55.49% in the seat.
