In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chinta Anuradha of YSRCP won in this seat defeating Ganti Harish Madhur (Balayogi) of TDP by a margin of 39,795 votes which was 3.23% of the total votes cast for the seat. YSRCP had a vote share of 39.34% in 2019 in this seat.

In 2014, Pandula Ravindra Babu of TDP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pinipe Viswarupu of YSRCP by a margin of 1,20,576 votes which was 10.76% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TDP secured a vote share of 53.04% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, G V Harsha Kumar of INC won this seat beating Pothula Prameela Devi of PRAP by a margin of 40,005 votes which was 3.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 35.99% in the seat.
