In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Dharamsoth Redya Naik of TRS won in this seat defeating Jatoth Ram Chandru Naik of INC by a margin of 17,381 which was 9.98% of the total votes cast for the seat. TRS had a vote share of 50.73% in 2018 in this seat.
