In 2014, Chandra Maya Limboo (Subba) of SDF was the winner in this seat beating Kharka Bdr Subba of SKM by a margin of 1,639 votes which was 17.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Prem Lall Subba of SDF won this seat defeating Depan Hang Limbu of INC by a margin of 4,225 votes which was 53.59% of the total votes polled for the seat.
