In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Madan Dilawar of BJP won in this seat defeating Ramgopal of INC by a margin of 12,879 which was 7.3% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 51.45% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Chandrakanta Meghwal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Babulal of INC by a margin of 36,919 votes which was 26.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 59.16% in the seat.
