In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Prashant Bairwa of INC won in this seat defeating Ram Sahay Verma of BJP by a margin of 43,889 which was 25.23% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 60.82% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Hira Lal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Prashant of INC by a margin of 5,936 votes which was 3.83% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 43.05% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kamal Bairwa of INC won this seat beating Satish Chandel of BJP by a margin of 2,438 votes which was 2.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 34.05% in the seat.
