In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Mahendra Choudhary of INC won in this seat defeating Vijay Singh of BJP by a margin of 2,256 which was 1.28% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 41.06% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Vijay Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Mahendra Choudhary of INC by a margin of 29,779 votes which was 19.35% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.23% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Mahendra Choudhary of INC won this seat beating Harish Chand of BJP by a margin of 21,847 votes which was 17.15% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.42% in the seat.
