In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Kalpana Devi of BJP won in this seat defeating Gulnaz of INC by a margin of 21,656 which was 10.9% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 52.8% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Bhawani Singh Rajawat of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Naimuddin(Guddu) of INC by a margin of 16,206 votes which was 9.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.65% in the seat.
