In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Mahadeo Singh of IND won in this seat defeating Banshidhar Bajiya of BJP by a margin of 4,348 which was 2.52% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 31.21% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Banshidhar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Giriraj of INC by a margin of 35,394 votes which was 23.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.59% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Banshidhar of BJP won this seat beating Mahadev Singh of INC by a margin of 9,898 votes which was 8.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 41.37% in the seat.
