In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Ashok of INC won in this seat defeating Jitendra Kumar Gothwal of BJP by a margin of 27,949 which was 17.7% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 56.37% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Jitendra Kumar Gothwal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ashok of INC by a margin of 19,342 votes which was 13.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.21% in the seat.
