In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Dr Mahesh Joshi of INC won in this seat defeating Surendra Pareek of BJP by a margin of 9,282 which was 5.47% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.38% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Surendra Pareek of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Brij Kishore Sharma of INC by a margin of 12,715 votes which was 8.89% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.89% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Brij Kishore Sharma of INC won this seat beating Manju Sharma of BJP by a margin of 580 votes which was 0.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 41.2% in the seat.
