In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Pooraram Choudhary of BJP won in this seat defeating Samarjit Singh of INC by a margin of 9,646 which was 5.27% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 43.14% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Poora Ram Choudhary of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Um Singh of INC by a margin of 40,191 votes which was 24.62% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 57.05% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Poora Ram Choudhary of BJP won this seat beating Samrjit Singh of INC by a margin of 21,199 votes which was 17.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.97% in the seat.
