In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Sanjay Sharma of BJP won in this seat defeating Shweta Saini of INC by a margin of 22,008 which was 13.17% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 50.91% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Banwari Lal Singhal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Narendra Sharma of INC by a margin of 62,229 votes which was 44.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 60.34% in the seat.
