Election results

In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, K T Rokhaw of INC won in this seat defeating M Chakhu of MNF by a margin of 844 which was 5.75% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 37.44% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Hiphei of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Pp Thawla of MDF by a margin of 1,823 votes which was 14.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 56.86% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, P P Thawla of MDF won this seat beating T T Vakhu of INC by a margin of 84 votes which was 0.67% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 33.37% in the seat.
