In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Lalruatkima of MNF won in this seat defeating Dr Lalmalsawma Nghaka of INC by a margin of 2,720 which was 16.12% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 45.2% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Lalruatkima of MNF emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Lalmalsawma Nghaka of INC by a margin of 630 votes which was 4.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. MNF had a vote share of 43.47% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Brig T Sailo of MPC won this seat beating Zothankimi of INC by a margin of 498 votes which was 3.95% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 36.92% in the seat.
