In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Lalchhuanthanga of IND won in this seat defeating Denghmingthanga of MNF by a margin of 179 which was 0.92% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 37.44% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Lt Col Zosangzuala of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating R Tlanghmingthanga of MNF by a margin of 1,043 votes which was 6.03% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.79% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Lt Col Zosangzuala of INC won this seat beating Denghmingthanga of ZNP by a margin of 489 votes which was 3.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. ZNP had a vote share of 36.34% in the seat.
