In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, C Lalsawivunga of IND won in this seat defeating K Liantlinga of MNF by a margin of 1,049 which was 6.1% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 39.59% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, R Vanlalvena of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating R K Lianzuala of MNF by a margin of 1,296 votes which was 7.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.59% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, K Liantlinga of ZNP won this seat beating R Vanlalvena of INC by a margin of 28 votes which was 0.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 31.82% in the seat.
