In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Zoramthanga of MNF won in this seat defeating K Sapdanga of IND by a margin of 2,504 which was 12.81% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 42.75% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, R Lalrinawma of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Lalhmangaiha Sailo of MPC by a margin of 422 votes which was 2.56% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 37.72% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, R Lalrinawma of INC won this seat beating F Malsawma of MNF by a margin of 1,089 votes which was 8.06% of the total votes polled in the constituency. MNF had a vote share of 37.61% in the seat.
