In 2014, Madan Madhukarrao Yerawar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Santosh Marotrao Dhavale of SS by a margin of 1,227 votes which was 0.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Nilesh Shivram Deshmukh Parvekar of INC won this seat defeating Madan Madhukarrao Yerawar of BJP by a margin of 19,875 votes which was 12.23% of the total votes polled for the seat.
