In 2014, Dr Pankaj Rajesh Bhoyar of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Shekar Pramod Shende of INC by a margin of 8,550 votes which was 5.15% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Deshmukh Suresh Bapuraoji of IND won this seat defeating Shende Shekhar Pramod of INC by a margin of 11,665 votes which was 7.93% of the total votes polled for the seat.
