In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sanjivreddy Bapurao Bodkurwar of BJP won in this constituency beating Wamanrao Bapurao Kasawar of INC by a margin of 27,688 votes which was 13.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bodkurwar Sanjivreddi Bapurao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Nandekar Vishvas Ramchandra of SS by a margin of 5,606 votes which was 2.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kasawar Wamanrao Bapurao of INC won this seat defeating Vishwas Ramchandra Nandekar of SS by a margin of 10,440 votes which was 5.99% of the total votes polled for the seat.
