In 2014, Jadhav (Patil) Makrand Laxmanrao of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Bhosale Madan Prataprao of INC by a margin of 38,702 votes which was 17.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Makarand Laxmanrao Jadhav Patil of IND won this seat defeating Bhosale Madan Prataprao of INC by a margin of 21,825 votes which was 10.96% of the total votes polled for the seat.
