In 2014, Chougule Dnyanraj Dhondiram of SS was the winner in this seat beating Kisan Nagnath Kamble of INC by a margin of 20,442 votes which was 12.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chougule Dnyanraj Dhondiram of SS won this seat defeating Dr Gaikwad Baburao Pandurang of INC by a margin of 10,332 votes which was 6.53% of the total votes polled for the seat.
