In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Deshmukh Vijaykumar Sidramappa of BJP won in this constituency beating Anand Baburao Chandanshive of VBA by a margin of 72,870 votes which was 48.04% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Vijay Sidramappa Deshmukh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Mahesh Chandrakant Gadekar of NCP by a margin of 68,878 votes which was 44.71% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Deshmukh Vijaykumar Sidramappa of BJP won this seat defeating Kothe Mahesh Vishnupant of INC by a margin of 10,090 votes which was 7.37% of the total votes polled for the seat.
