In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kanade Lahu Natha of INC won in this constituency beating Bhausaheb Malhari Kamble of SS by a margin of 18,930 votes which was 10.25% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bhausaheb Malhari Kamble of INC was the winner in this seat beating Wakchaure Bhausaheb Rajaram of BJP by a margin of 11,484 votes which was 6.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
