In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Pachpute Babanrao Bhikaji of BJP won in this constituency beating Ghanshyam Prataprao Shelar of NCP by a margin of 4,523 votes which was 02.14% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Jagtap Rahul Kundlikrao of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Pachpute Babanrao Bhikaji of BJP by a margin of 13,637 votes which was 6.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pachpute Babanrao Bhikaji of NCP won this seat defeating Nagawade Rajendra Shivajirao of BJP by a margin of 27,445 votes which was 14.35% of the total votes polled for the seat.
