This constituency covers an approximate area of 1285.59 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 18°37'37.2"N 74°10'10.2"E.

In 2014, Pacharne Baburao Kashinath of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Ashok Ravsaheb Pawar of NCP by a margin of 10,941 votes which was 5.06% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
