In 2014, Kashiram Vechan Pawara of INC was the winner in this seat beating Dr Jitendra Yuvraj Thakur of BJP by a margin of 25,201 votes which was 12.83% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Kashiram Vechan Pawara of INC won this seat defeating Pawara Ranjitsinh Bhartsinh of BJP by a margin of 39,813 votes which was 25.54% of the total votes polled for the seat.
