In 2014, Patil Ulhas Sambhaji of SS was the winner in this seat beating Rajendra Shamgonda Patil (Yadravkar) of NCP by a margin of 20,033 votes which was 8.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Appasaheb Alias Satgonda Revgonda Patil of INC won this seat defeating Patil Ulhas Sambhaji of SWP by a margin of 16,446 votes which was 8.72% of the total votes polled for the seat.
